Learn to Eat Healthy on a Tight Budget
Georgia Melody, P.A. of MSU Extensions Food and Nutrition Program, will offer a healthy cooking and nutrition series about simple, cheap, and healthy eating on a tight budget.
Classes will be Thursdays from 6:00-7:00pm

~ Ypsilanti Community Band features renowned soloist (click over date for details).  Internationally renowned euphonium soloist Adam Frey will appear in concert with the Ypsilanti Community Band on February 18, 7:30 p.m., in Towsley Auditorium of Washtenaw Community College. The concert is free and open to the public. Middle school, high school, and university euphonium and other low brass players are especially urged to be in attendance to hear this extraordinarily talented musician.
Frey, a native of Atlanta, Georgia, holds degrees from the University of Georgia and the Royal Northern College of Music in Manchester, England. In addition to his extensive performing all over the world, Frey is a member of the faculty at both Emory University and Georgia State University.
There will be a post-concert reception (for audience, Band, and guest artists) to be held in the Lobby/Atrium of the Morris Lawrence Building. Refreshments will be served.
The Morris Lawrence Building is the east-most building on the Washtenaw Community College campus. WCC is located at 4800 E. Huron River Drive, Ann Arbor. There is plenty of free parking in the vicinity of the Morris Lawrence Building and the main entrance to the building is on the east side
